This is a high quality gas welded fuel tank for the
Series 1 Seven and has the baffles bolted in place as per the originals (but
without the same leakage problems). I have used nice brass bolts and fittings. It
includes a period aluminium screw cap. I can also fit any other cap required.
This tank can also be made with welded in baffles
or foam filled.

This is a high quality aluminium
baffled fuel tank for the Series 2 Lotus Seven. It includes the aluminium screw
cap. I believe that I am the only maker of these tanks. This tank doesn't have the sender unit mount but that can be added if
required (as viewed below). 40 litre capacity.

LOTUS SEVEN Series 2 tank, unique

This s2 Seven tank is the same shape as the standard tank except that
it is slightly larger at the base (dimensions 806mm wide and 238mm front
to rear). It was made for a project that didn't materialise and is now for
sale.
It is fitted with an Aston 2 1/4" aluminium cap, and a mounting on
the end to fit a discrete sender unit if required (I can supply that
sender unit or a blanking plate). Gasket and stainless steel retaining
bolts included.

This is a high quality direct replacement for the standard
fuel tank, but with improved design features. It is common that the standard
factory supplied tank occasionally leaks around the sender unit. This tank is
designed so that is not an issue. Includes sender gasket.

This is constructed to the same high specification as
the carb model above, but designed for fuel injection. I have inserted a
machined boss into the side of the tank for the mounting of the internal fuel
pump. This rigid boss ensures that leakage is not an issue which is common on
some standard production tanks. Includes sender gasket.
I can also manufacture this fuel injected tank for an external
fuel pump installation. (Please enquire).
Also please note that when usually upgrading from carb
to fuel injection, the fuel cap and filler hose need to be replaced due to
the tank filler neck diameter being smaller on the f/injected version. Not
a problem here as I can make the f/injected tank with the larger carb size
filler neck, so those items do not need to be replaced.

that although this tank will fit directly into the standard mounts, the upper
boot panel would need to be removed or modified.

This is FIA compliant. It has a VDO dip tube sender unit
mount, screw cap, breather and -6 AN supply and return fittings.
